Four Seasons Photography Competition 2024

Throughout the year, Clúid is inviting residents to participate in the Four Seasons Photography Competition. Four competitions will run with the seasons throughout the year. The topic for each of the four themes is the season itself, for example, during Spring, the first competition, we want photos that show what Spring means to you.

The 2024 Four Seasons Photo Competition entry deadlines are as follows

The prize for each competition winner is
1st place = €100 One4All voucher
2nd place = €75 One4All voucher
3rd place = €50 One4All voucher

How to enter
Email your photo to fourseasons@cluid.ie, with your name and address.
Print off your photo and send it to the following address, including your name and address:

Competition Terms and Conditions:
Competition Name: Four Seasons Photography Competition
Organiser: Clúid Housing
Eligibility: Open to all residents of Clúid Housing properties.
Submission Deadline: the deadline for the Winter edition of the competition is 15th November
Autumn – closed.
Summer – closed.
Spring – closed.
Entry Fee: No entry fee.
Image Specifications: Image Format: JPEG or PNG. Size: Maximum 2mb. Resolution: Minimum 300kb. Naming Convention: Image submissions should have a relevant title.
Images must be original, taken by the entrant, and not violate any copyright or other laws.
If you include a person in your photo, please remember to get their consent to use their image. We will assume that you have their consent to include them in your photo for the competition.
You can submit a maximum of one photo entry for each competition period.
No photos submitted by post will be returned.
Evaluation Process: A panel of judges appointed by Clúid Housing will evaluate entries.
Judging Criteria: Creativity, composition, technical skill, and adherence to the theme of the four seasons competition. The judges’ decision is final.
First Place: €100 One4All voucher. Second Place: €75 One4All voucher. Third Place: €50 One4All voucher.
Copyright: Entrants retain copyright of their submitted images.
Usage Rights: Clúid Housing reserves the right to use the winning and shortlisted images, including name and partial address, for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and printed materials.
Disclaimer: Clúid Housing is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition.
Indemnification: Entrants agree to indemnify Clúid Housing against any claims arising from their participation.
Data Protection: Clúid Housing will handle entrant’s personal information in accordance with Irish data protection laws (DPA 2018 & GDPR).
Governing Law: Irish law shall govern these terms and conditions.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the competition shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration.
Clúid Housing reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
By submitting an entry to the Clúid Housing Four Seasons Photo Competition, you are consenting to the terms and conditions of this competition.
