About Clúid Housing

Clúid Housing (Clúid) is an award-winning, independent, not-for-profit organisation, leading the way in delivering secure, high-quality, affordable homes. Our vision is a society where everyone has a great place to live. We aim to achieve this vision by providing quality housing and services, to enable residents to create homes and thriving communities.

To date Clúid has provided over 12,000 homes to over 31,000 people in housing need all over Ireland. Together, we are also working to achieve our ambitious target of providing more than 1,000 new homes every year – contributing to the government’s Housing for All targets.

With a range of skills and experiences, our team of over 300 multi-disciplinary professionals come together to achieve our mission. These include:

Annual leave

As well as 22 days of annual leave, Clúid colleagues benefit from three days of office closure between Christmas and New Year, as well as office closure on Good Friday. As an added benefit, employees can take a day off during the month of your birthday or when you just need a health and wellbeing ‘me day’.

Great place to work hours

Clúid recognises the need to balance work and non-work life. Great Place to Work Hours (GPTW) offers flexibility for staff that have met their weekly responsibilities in the office. By only taking half an hour for lunch throughout the week, colleagues on a rotational basis can start the weekend early by finishing at 2pm on Friday

Clúid provides funding and time off to undertaking further study, ranging from short courses, to professional and third level qualifications.
