Clúid Design & Build

Clúid develops the majority of housing projects through standard procurement or in-house design and build. Over the last 20 years, we have amassed a wealth of experience in managing the construction process.

Our in-house design team has considerable experience in all aspects of social housing projects. Clúid has developed a Design Guide to establish a framework that will increase awareness and understanding of excellent design within residential developments. Find out more in Clúid’s Design Guide.

Developer Design & Build

Clúid has developed a procurement process and development agreement that allows us to finance developer-led design and build projects in various stages.

The first stage sees Clúid purchase a site and enter into a development agreement. The developer then manages the design and construction of the project.

We see this model as a major source of supply in the future.
It reduces finance costs for the developer and delivers high quality new build units to Clúid.

Click here to find out about a recent Developer Design and Build scheme, Sruthán na Sailí scheme in Killarney. One of the largest sustainable social housing schemes in the state.
