New Business Development Officer

The New Business Development Officer will join the in-house New Business Team, which is tasked with managing an extensive development and acquisition programme. There are 28 people on the team which hosts a wide range of talented, experienced professionals who work on delivering homes. At Clúid we not only purchase homes, we also design and build them and as a result there is plenty of opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the sector by joining our team.

The New Business team focuses on two main areas of work: sourcing new business opportunities and the delivery of these social housing opportunities. Your primary role will be to support the team to deliver the current pipeline of social housing projects. The post requires excellent planning, organisational and negotiation skills as well as attention to detail. You will be required to be familiar with all stages of the development process from acquisition and design through to the delivery of homes. Teamwork and the demonstrated ability to proactively communicate with project team members is key to being successful in this role.

The New Business team focuses on two main areas of work: Sourcing new business
opportunities and the delivery of these social housing projects. The New Business team is a
highly skilled, professional, property development team made up of, new business managers,
project managers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors as well as support staff. The Director of New Business, supported by a management team, which includes the Head of Delivery,
Delivery Programme Manager as well as representatives from the supply and delivery teams,
manages the 21-member team. Your role will be to work with the Supply Team to build on and
manage an extensive housing development pipeline.
