BE-VENT research project
11th Dec, 2024
The Impact of Occupant Behavour on Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality in Irish Energy-Efficient Homes (BE-VENT).
The BE-VENT research project aims to examine knowledge and awareness of indoor air quality, indoor air pollutants and behaviours related to ventilation in energy efficient homes.
You are being invited to participate in the BE-VENT research project because your home is considered an ‘energy-efficient’ home (i.e., it is either a new-build or has been retrofitted).
We are asking you to complete a short questionnaire. The questionnaire examines issues relating to your home, levels of awareness and knowledge relating to indoor air quality and aspects of behaviour relating to ventilation. Completing the questionnaire should take approx. 10 to 12 minutes. By taking part in the survey, you will be eligible for inclusion in a prize draw to win one of three €100 OneForAll vouchers.
Your participation in the BE-VENT research project is entirely voluntary. If there is anything that you are not clear about, the team conducting the research at Galway University will be happy to explain it to you. You can contact
