About the National Residents’ Advisory Group
Early in 2020, Clúid collaborated with residents on the formation of the National Residents’ Advisory Group (NRAG). The group was established in February and is made up of people from across the Clúid resident body. The guiding principle of the NRAG is that of partnership, with the objective of incorporating the residents’ voice and perspectives into all areas of the organisation.
Despite global pandemic restrictions and moving to meeting online, the NRAG has continued to go from strength to strength. Our work has included
- Co-creation of the resident engagement strategy
- Co-creation of bio-diversity guides and signage
- Presentations to the Board of Clúid
- Involvement in financial inclusion research
- Peer led environmental education
- Input into “Sustainability Matters” section on the newsletter
- Presentations to Clúid employees at the Staff Conference
- Establishing the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) working group
- Consultation on the development of Clúid’s resident portal
The NRAG was shortlisted for the Allianz ICSH Public Choice Awards and won in the Housing Management category. Deborah, Chair of NRAG, stated, “As a group we decided it would be a positive experience for everyone involved, working in partnership with Clúid to give feedback to any changes or improvements regarding Clúid’s policies, practices etc. The NRAG has a national agenda that considers the lived experiences of all Clúid residents and strives to make our Clúid Community a truly great place to live.” This was a significant achievement for the NRAG who in two short years have achieved so much.

We ask that you can commit to 4 to 8 meetings annually (subject to change). Meetings will be a mix of online and in person.
